Do I need a car?
You do not need a car to visit Ragusa’s two historic centres: a scenic stairway connects them and is one of the defining parts of the visit.
To reach Modica, Scicli, Donnafugata Castle and Marina di Ragusa, you will need a car or public transport.
Where can I park?
Ragusa has free parking, spaces reserved for residents at night, and paid parking both on the street and in covered car parks.
Road signs clearly indicate where parking is prohibited and where restrictions apply.
How should I prepare for walking?
Allow for steps and changes in elevation when choosing a route. If you have mobility needs, ask us for a suitable route before your visit.
