See the city from different perspectives
The centre and its changes in elevation invite you to change perspective. Include the churches of San Pietro and San Giorgio in your walk, and take time to look over the city from above.
Time for a pause
We suggest at least a full day, allowing half a day for each of its two historic centres. Leave time to enter a shop and taste the chocolate, without turning the visit into a race between monuments.
A practical tip
Decide which areas you want to visit first: hills and steps can affect your pace. Check the opening hours of any interiors you want to see before leaving.
